Going with the Main Halyard through a rope clutch.

After feeding the screacher halyard through the mast, I did end up making replacing it in the masts built in block and cleat, pulling out the main halyard to now run through two deck blocks to guide it back through a double rope clutch that I drilled and epoxied the holes for last night.

Hopefully this will make handling the main a bit easier.

The cabin companionway hatch lock is installed,
