Latest News 4/27/2017:

Our Farrier F22 is 99% ready for its first sea trail.  With long hours put in by Sarah and Bryan, it is almost there.

The electrical system is 99% ready.  The Mast Raising System V1.0 is complete and tested, forward hatch installed and rain tested, looks like we are there.

On mast raising:

I worked on last night, an update to the aft mast support which is used for both trailering and for initial support during raising. Using just the rudder gudgeons, its design for some silly reason leaves it to be able to rotate.  I have added wooden blocks to the support itself (not attached to the boat in any way - aft support is replaced with rudder housing once mast is raised), that prevent it from rotating much.  Probably will want to add some rubber or other material to soften where it comes into contact with the boat in use, but initial tests seem to indicate it should function as expected.

On electrical system:

She has nearly finished the electrical system including the lighting.  Only the VHF radio's bracket remains to be attached and the rest of the cockpit lighting.  I am truly amazed by the job Sarah has done here.  It is a sight to see (pun intended?).

To-Do-List:

Highly desirable before honeymoon:

Forward berth bed installed, Bimini, Complete Electrical,  preparing and testing the Honda 5HP including fuel system.

Nice to haves:

Reacher Installed and tested

Completed since last update:

Tested the Jib furling, ordered some parts, it can be used if we "handle it properly", but it needs some line guides to keep the lines at the right angle and tension.  Sarah got electrical system from 90 to 99% complete. Version 1.0 of traveler system is ready.
